Physical stature has often been an element of social stature. This unique shoe has multiple sole layers, raising a woman onto a platform where she will be noticed. The height of the shoe is reminiscent of the infamous "chopine" worn by courtesans in 16th entury Venice who raised themselves virtually onto pedestals as they exchanged erotic pleasures for a life of independence, wealth and fashion. The metallic look suggests precious coins and acknoledges the true role of the shoe as an object of fantasy and power. Designers of the 1970's and 80s reinvented the platform with renewed vigor, humor or geometric intrigue. But this sculptural design was ahead of its time, suggesting a silver lining during a cloudy era. © Raine 1999

Just The Right Shoes by Raine sind Miniaturschuhe aus Resin. Sie werden völlig naturgetreu gearbeitet, liebevoll bemalt und mit wunderschönen Details verziert. So ist jedes Stück wie ein kleines Kunstwerk. Die Grösse der Schuhe: ca. 7-10cm, 3cm Breite, die Höhe variiert je nach Absatzhöhe und Schuhart.

Sie erhalten jeweils den "rechten" Schuh in einem gut gepolsterten kleinen Geschenk-Schuhkarton. Jedem Karton liegt der kleine Katalog der jeweiligen Kollektion und das COA (Echtheitszertifikat mit der Beschreibung des Modells) bei.
